Family Storytime

Join us every week for stories, poems, music, movement, & fun!

The Mobile Library will be parked in front of Somis Elementary serving both the school and the community. 

Fuel your curiosity in the newly designed Rosenbluth Family Innovation Lab. Dive into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math at our weekly STEAM Lab. Join us every Wednesday afternoon. See you there! 

Teens! Come to the Fillmore library to relax, color, and craft after school.

PAWS for Reading

Join our Love on a Leash volunteer dogs for one-on-one reading sessions. Arrive at the library early to choose a book and get in line to read to a special pooch. Sign-up begin at 3:15pm.

We will meet every other Wednesday and make something crafty! No sign-up required.

This program is designed for people ages 11-17.

Tutoring and educational projects for grades K-8.

Group math tutoring for 9th & 10th grade will be available on Wednesdays only.

Making butter by hand can be hard work, but it can be easily made at home--or at the library! In this activity, you'll not only get to find out how butter is made, but also how temperature affects the butter-making process.

This month, we're reading "The Midnight Library" by Matt Haig.

Feeling creative? Come play and build with our selection of Legos every Saturday from 1pm to 3pm.  Build our design challenge and show us your creation. We will post your masterpiece on our social media pages!

Creativity alive! Build a fort or a space ship or whatever you are in the mood for. We would love to display your creation in the library!

During our Color, Craft, or More, we will be having a crafting session from 2pm to 3pm and then coloring from 3pm to 4pm. Come join us. All are welcome!

Are you learning English and want a chance to practice with other adults in your community? Ventura County Library invites you to join English classes held in partnership with Laubach Literacy of Ventura County to build fluency skills.

Join us for Minecraft Gaming at the library. Our June 9 Minecraft Club coincides with our Summer Reading Kickoff at EP Foster Library. 

This program is limited to participants ages 8 -17 years old.

Join us to play Minecraft in-person at the Hill Road Library! Children will be able to play cooperatively on a library server and participate in challenges or free creative play.
