Learn about the Ventura County Mobile Library and all the wonderful services we have to offer.

Join the Foothill High Discover Science team on the patio at Hill Road Library for hands-on science learning and fun! We will explore fluids and density by creating sugar water density towers! Appropriate for grades k-5 and families. 

Play board games, build with Lego, and solve puzzles. A perfect low-key Saturday activity for families and a great opportunity to meet up with friends and neighbors.

The Mobile Library will be at the Native American Heritage Month Gathering event in the Ventura County Indian Education Consortium. 

Exploring the world of Fiber Arts at Ray D. Prueter Library - First ever event! This club will be meeting once a month on every third Saturday from 1pm - 2pm.

Feeling creative? Come play and build with our selection of Legos every Saturday from 1pm to 3pm.  Build our design challenge and show us your creation. We will post your masterpiece on our social media pages!

Build and play! Create anything from your imagination with Lego and  Duplo at Fillmore Library!

They're back! Paws For Reading is a one on one program for kids. Once a month, your child can cozy up and read to specially trained pups. This is a great way to build reading confidence. Bring your own book or use one of ours.

Adult Collage Sunday in the Topping Room. 

11AM-1PM. The third Sunday of each month.

Creativity alive! Build a fort or a space ship or whatever you are in the mood for. We would love to display your creation in the library!

During our Color, Craft, or More, we will be having a crafting session from 2pm to 3pm and then coloring from 3pm to 4pm. Come join us. All are welcome!

Calling all curious minds and creative souls! Ojai Library is thrilled to announce the launch of its newest event series, the Wonder Workshop, designed specifically for adults eager to explore the world of fiber arts.

The Ojai Library Fiber Arts & Knitting Club is a weekly drop-in group for adults interested in knitting, crochet, and other fiber crafts. Participants are encouraged to bring their current project with them.

Are you learning English and want a chance to practice with other adults in your community? Ventura County Library invites you to join English classes held in partnership with Laubach Literacy of Ventura County to build fluency skills.

Join us at the Ojai Library to play and sing together! Beginners welcome!

Join us every week at our early literacy storytime for stories, music and movement. For children ages 0-5 and their parent or caregiver.

Join us for Storytime and Sensory Play!

First 5 will be presenting bilingual Storytime on the second Monday of the month.

Join us at Ojai Library for Doodle Time and let your imagination soar! Doodle Time is the perfect opportunity for young artists to unleash their creativity, make new friends, and have fun exploring the wonderful world of art through doodling.

Come read, sing, and play with us at Piru Library every week on Mondays! Ages 0-5 with caregivers. 

Join us at the Meiners Oaks Library on Mondays for Arts and Crafts programs for kids and teens.  Activities may be subject to change.

Have a say in what happens at the library! Join our Teen Advisory Group to share ideas, help plan children and teen events, and earn volunteer hours—all while meeting new friends.  Open to students in 8th–12th grade.
