Ghost Hunting Kit

Borrow a Ghost Hunting Kit from Ventura County Library for a fun, educational introduction to paranormal investigating. Includes a spirit box, digital voice recorder, EMF meter, and motion-activated light-up balls. Return to the service desk (not a book drop).

  • Use is voluntary and intended for education and entertainment only.
  • Follow all Ventura County Library policies and procedures.
  • Do not use equipment in rain or near water.
  • Headphone safety: avoid high volume and do not use while driving.
  • Choking hazard: motion-activated light-up balls contain batteries and are harmful if swallowed.
  • Return to the service desk only. Do not place in a book drop.
  • Recording device data will be deleted upon return.

No software required. Optional: Bluetooth-capable device (if using the spirit box Bluetooth feature). Power/charging notes (as described in the guide): the spirit box uses AAA batteries (not included), and the EMF meter charges via USB-C with a 5V/1A US
