Join us for Storytime and Sensory Play!

First 5 will be presenting bilingual Storytime on the second Monday of the month.

Join us every week at our early literacy storytime for stories, music, and movement. For children ages 0-5 and their parent or caregiver.

• A drop-in early literacy Storytime for ages birth - 5 years
• Features stories, movement, rhymes and songs, followed by a simple craft and open playtime

A drop-in play group for caregivers and children ages birth through 5 years. 

Play board games, build with Lego, and solve puzzles. A perfect low-key Saturday activity for families and a great opportunity to meet up with friends and neighbors.

Let your creativity feast! Join us at Ojai Library on Sunday 8/24 12:30-2 pm for Art Buffet, a hands-on program where kids can explore a variety of art supplies.

Creativity alive! Build a fort or a space ship or whatever you are in the mood for. We would love to display your creation in the library!

Join us at Ojai Library for Doodle Time and let your imagination soar! Doodle Time is the perfect opportunity for young artists to unleash their creativity, make new friends, and have fun exploring the wonderful world of art through doodling.

Calling all crafters! Join us at the Ojai Library to explore the world of shrinky dinks. 

Get creative with LEGO play every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm at the Avenue Library.  

As LEGO pieces may be a choking hazard, parental guidance is required for small children.

Fuel your curiosity in the newly designed Rosenbluth Family Innovation Lab. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities every Wednesday afternoon. See you there!

Calling all young scientists, engineers, and innovators! Dive into the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) at our weekly STEAM Lab.

Enjoy some board games from our collection or challenge someone to foosball! Bring friends and family, or find a game partner at the library.
 

Join us for for a world of creativity and fun. Build a tower or craft fantastical creatures, each session is a chance to explore new worlds and express your creativity brick by brick.

A drop-in early literacy storytime for ages birth - 5 yrs featuring stories, movement, rhymes and songs.  

Come get your creative juices flowing with a Crafternoon at the Fillmore Library. We'll have craft options available for a variety of age groups and skill levels. 

Dinosaurs are hatching at Fillmore Library! And you will be helping them! 

Join the fun coloring a paper dino and assembling it's egg so it will hatch!

A drop-in play group for caregivers and children ages birth through 5 years. 

Join us every Wednesday afternoon for self-guided arts, crafts and coloring.

A special, structured craft will be provided every 4th Wednesday of the month.

PAWS for Reading

Join our Love on a Leash volunteer dogs for one-on-one reading sessions. Arrive at the library early to choose a book and get in line to read to a special pooch. Sign-up begin at 3:15pm.

Join us at the Meiners Oaks Library for STEAM activities and games on Thursdays from 3pm-5pm.  Activities are subject to change.

Join us for a session of Bug Bingo! It's just like regular bingo, but with bugs! Bug Bingo is a fun and educational take on the traditional game as children learn about their favorite species as well as weird and wonderful exotic bugs.
