Join us for Storytime and Sensory Play!

First 5 will be presenting bilingual Storytime on the second Monday of the month.

Join us every week at our early literacy storytime for stories, music, and movement. For children ages 0-5 and their parent or caregiver.

Join us on the patio for Hill Road Library's Little Lab! Each week, children will have the opportunity to create, explore and experiment with sensory activities, process art, constructive play, and more! 

Caregivers are invited to bring their little ones to learn through songs, rhymes, and stories.

Join the experts from the Cal State Long Beach Shark Lab for a fascinating look beneath the waves! Learn how scientists study the behavior and biology of sharks along the California coast.

Creativity alive! Build a fort or a space ship or whatever you are in the mood for. We would love to display your creation in the library!

All are welcome to "stay and play" at the Fillmore Library.  Board games, legos, puzzles, and free play with our toys are available during this time. 

The Ventura County Library staff will be at Westpark Summer Camp for the students and staff!

Calling all master builders! Join us for a world of imagination and creativity at our drop-in Lego Play. 

Level up your curiosity this summer in the Rosenbluth Family Innovation Lab! Build your own foosball game, create a design with a 3D pen or win a prize in our Minute to Win it Games! It's all happening this summer at your library!

Join us at the Ojai Library for an adorable and educational event - Paws for Reading! Every Wednesday from 2:30 - 3:30PM, kids can cozy up with a furry friend, Radiant the dog, and practice their reading skills.

Join us for for a world of creativity and fun. Build a tower or craft fantastical creatures, each session is a chance to explore new worlds and express your creativity brick by brick.

Join us this summer for Movie Mondays at the Hill Road Library! We will show a family-friendly movie on select Mondays during June and July, with coloring supplies and popcorn provided for children.

Stay & Play

A drop-in early literacy storytime for ages birth - 5 yrs featuring stories, movement, rhymes and songs.  

Hill Road Library is going wild this summer! Explore and discover the natural world through a unique interactive live animal presentation featuring mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.

Children are invited to come to the Ojai Library and create their own pixel-inspired designs! Create small or big projects! Create your own pixel-inspired design using fuse beads!

A drop-in play group for caregivers and children ages birth through 5 years. 

Join us every Wednesday afternoon for self-guided arts, crafts and coloring.

A special, structured craft will be provided every 4th Wednesday of the month.

Paws for Reading

Join PAWS dogs for one-on-one reading sessions. Arrive at the library early to choose a book and get in line to read to a special pooch.

Children of all ages are welcome!
