Family Storytime

Join us every week for stories, poems, music, movement, & fun!

Caregivers are invited to bring their little ones to learn through songs, rhymes, and stories. 

Coloring sheets and crayons are provided for children and their families.

All are welcome to "stay and play" at the Avenue Library.  Board games, card games, puzzles and more are available during open hours.

Play to Learn

Bring your friends and choose from over 35 games to play!

Everyone is welcome to play games, solve puzzles, and build with Lego. Fun for families and a great opportunity to meet up with friends and neighbors.

Celebrate Native American Heritage Month with a hands-on corn husk doll-making activity! Corn husk dolls are a traditional craft that has been passed down through generations in various Native American cultures.

Great news Port Hueneme!

Join us at the Ojai Library for an adorable and educational event - Paws for Reading! Every Wednesday from 1:30 - 2:30 PM, kids can cozy up with a furry friend, Radiant the dog, and practice their reading skills.

Feeling creative? Come play and build with our selection of Legos every Saturday from 1pm to 3pm. Show us your designs and we will post to our social media pages. All are welcome! (STEM program)

Calling all curious minds and creative souls! Ojai Library is thrilled to announce the launch of its newest event series, the Wonder Workshop, designed specifically for adults eager to explore the world of fiber arts.

Explore different doodling techniques with friends.

Get creative and have fun with LEGO Play.  For safety reasons, parental supervision is required for small children.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities.

Join us for for a world of creativity and fun. Build a tower or craft fantastical creatures; each session is a chance to explore new worlds and express your creativity brick by brick. 

The Ojai Library Fiber Arts & Knitting Club is a weekly drop-in group for adults interested in knitting, crochet, and other fiber crafts. Participants are encouraged to bring their current project with them.

Join us for a bi-monthly in-person Minecraft program.

Seats are limited. First come first serve.

Come color and draw with us! Best suited for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Meets in the Homework Center area during the school year.

Children are invited to come to the Ojai Library and create their own pixel-inspired designs! Create small or big projects! Create your own pixel-inspired design using fuse beads!

Paws for Reading

Join PAWS dogs for one-on-one reading sessions. Arrive at the library early to choose a book and get in line to read to a special pooch.

Join us every Wednesday afternoon for self-guided arts, crafts and coloring.

A special, structured craft will be provided every 4th Wednesday of the month.

Hill Road Book Club meets monthly on the last Tuesday.
