A drop-in play group for caregivers and children ages birth through 5 years.

Dive into the world of scratch coding this summer. In each interactive session, you'll learn the basics of scratch coding, create your own games, and explore the world of technology. Recommended for 3rd - 6th graders.

Join us every Wednesday afternoon for self-guided arts, crafts and coloring.

A special, structured craft will be provided every 4th Wednesday of the month.

PAWS for Reading

Join our Love on a Leash volunteer dogs for one-on-one reading sessions. Arrive at the library early to choose a book and get in line to read to a special pooch. Sign-up begin at 3:15pm.

Today Prueter Library kids will walk next door to celebrate National Parks & Rec Day with our friends at the Orvene S. Carpenter Community Center. Meet us at the Library at 3:15 or drop into the community center between 3:30-5:30.

Children are invited to create their own cardboard box using recycled materials. Cruise on over to our meeting room for a short movie. Best suited for ages 4-6 years

Join us this summer as the Avenue Library will be offering free lunches and fun activities for children ages 0-18.  

Meals will be served on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
