Families are welcome to stay and play with our collection of board games, card games, and puzzles at the Avenue Library during open hours.

Calling all Master Builders! Join us every Tuesday at the Piru Library for LEGO play. Build freely or take on a creative challenge. Recommended for ages 8+. Caregivers must remain with children under 18.

Children are invited to come to the Ojai Library and create their own pixel-inspired designs! Create small or big projects! Create your own pixel-inspired design using fuse beads!

A drop-in early literacy storytime for ages birth - 5 yrs featuring stories, movement, rhymes and songs.  

Come color, draw and craft with us! 

• Best suited for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade.
• Meets in the Homework/Afterschool Enrichment area during the school year.

Join us for a fun, hands-on program where kids learn essential computer skills and how to explore the digital world with confidence.

A drop-in play group for caregivers and children ages birth through 5 years. 

Children are welcome to enjoy storytelling, nursery rhymes, and finger play in both English and Spanish.  

This program is free and intended for children ages 0 - 5.

The Mobile Library will staff be at the Great Pacific Child Development Center Inc. (Ventura River)  for staff and students! 

Come read, sing, and play with us at Fillmore Library every week on Wednesdays! Ages 0-5 with caregivers.

Family Storytime

As LEGO pieces may be a choking hazard, parental guidance is required for small children.

Calling all young scientists, engineers, and innovators! Dive into the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) at our weekly STEAM Lab.

Join us at the Ojai Library for an adorable and educational event - Paws for Reading! Every Wednesday from 2:30 - 3:30PM, kids can cozy up with a furry friend, Radiant the dog, and practice their reading skills.

The Mobile Library staff will be at the Great Pacific Child Development Center Inc. (Patagonia)  for staff and students! 

Paws for Reading

Join PAWS dogs for one-on-one reading sessions. Arrive at the library early to choose a book and get in line to read to a special pooch.

Children of all ages are welcome!

Join us for Earth Day at Oak Park Library on Wednesday, April 22 at 4pm. We will make a stuffed Platypus out of paper and will have Earth Day coloring sheets available. All are welcome!

The Mobile Library will be at the Child Development Resources of Ventura County Family Language & Literacy Workshop.
