Are you learning English and want a chance to practice with other adults in your community? Ventura County Library invites you to join English classes held in partnership with Laubach Literacy of Ventura County to build fluency skills.

Caregivers are invited to bring their little ones to learn through songs, rhymes, and stories. 

• A drop-in early literacy Storytime for ages birth - 5 years
• Features stories, movement, rhymes and songs, followed by a simple craft and open playtime

Join us for Lunch at the Library, Monday-Thursday from July 1 through July 31. Free lunches that must be eaten on site will be provided for those 18 and younger. Daily activities will be provided after the lunch hour.

Join us for an epic day of fun with Gamez on Wheelz—a mobile gaming experience for kids and teens! 

Food Share will host a short nutrition education lesson, a hands-on recipe, and will provide a box of the produce for each family to take home.

PAWS for Reading

Join our Love on a Leash volunteer dogs for one-on-one reading sessions. Arrive at the library early to choose a book and get in line to read to a special pooch. Sign-up begin at 3:15pm.
