Are you learning English and want a chance to practice with other adults in your community? Ventura County Library invites you to join English classes held in partnership with Laubach Literacy of Ventura County to build fluency skills.

Join us at the Ojai Library to play and sing together! Beginners welcome!

Join us every week at our early literacy storytime for stories, music and movement. For children ages 0-5 and their parent or caregiver.

Join us for Storytime and Patio Play that includes water tables, every Monday through July 28!

First 5 will be presenting bilingual Storytime on the second Monday of the month.

Join us this summer as the Avenue Library will be offering free lunches and fun activities for children ages 0-18.  

Meals will be served on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

FREE LUNCH served Monday through Thursday, July 7-31, 12:30-1:30 pm

Join us for Lunch at the Library, Monday-Thursday from July 1 through July 31. Free lunches that must be eaten on site will be provided for those 18 and younger. Daily activities will be provided after the lunch hour.

Science has never been this exciting! This high-energy show gets the whole audience involved with hands-on experiments, surprising reactions, and tons of fun. Kids will be laughing, cheering, and learning without even realizing it.

The Ventura County Library staff will be at Westpark Summer Camp for the students and staff!

Join us for an epic day of fun with Gamez on Wheelz—a mobile gaming experience for kids and teens! Kids and teens also get FREE Kona Ice to enjoy before or after their gaming session!

Join us for Crafternoon Mondays, use your creativity to create something new every week!

Teens, stop by the Fillmore Library after school every Monday for some gaming fun. Bring your own Nintendo Switch and games, or use ours. Game on!

Explore your imagination by building with our freestyle Lego pieces!

Join us this summer for Movie Mondays at the Hill Road Library! We will show a family-friendly movie on select Mondays during June and July, with coloring supplies and popcorn provided for children.
